Most post-surgery bras are a type of compression bra, as targeted pressure is essential for minimizing fluid buildup and stabilizing the chest. These bras are specifically engineered to combine medical-grade support with wire-free comfort for the healing process.

Prioritize a front-closure design to make dressing easier when your mobility is limited post-op. Ensure the fabric is breathable and the straps are adjustable to provide a secure, customized fit that adapts to your recovery stages.

Padding is usually optional and removable in our designs, allowing you to adjust for sensitivity and swelling. While not strictly required for healing, it can provide extra protection and a smoother silhouette as you transition back to daily wear.

It is best to wash your bra every 1–2 days to keep the surgical area clean and prevent skin irritation. We highly recommend having at least two bras on hand so you can rotate them while one is being laundered.
